Keiran is in to his Handwriting Without Tears workbook. Practicing his R.
 

He has also started and is working through Explode the Code A. F is for fish.
 

He is up to Lesson 30 in Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons.
He can sound out the letters m, s, a, e, t, r, d, i, c, o, n, f, u, l, and the sound th. He is reading simple paragraphs and answering comprehension questions to go with them.

Shared learning with his sister..... Keiran and Gemma are learning about the provinces and their landscapes, animals, etc. This book is about the Prairies/Saskatchewan.
 

In science Keiran learned about different kinds of birds, and their beaks and feet.
 

Keiran's favorite subject is science and he is quick to pick up on details.

 Mapping. Gem is learning about different views- this one is top view.
 
 
 Science. Learning about birds and their characteristics. They have feathers, lay eggs, and have different beaks and feet for their habitat and the food they eat.
