addition

I take horrible pictures, but here is a sample of Aiden's addition work.

I love that by the end of the week he was saying, "Mom, this is an easy one," when actually he was working on the same stuff. It means he is getting it and progressing :)

  1. I love the concept of Math-U-See but I'm struggling with actually using it. The unloading and re-packing of the blocks nearly drives me mad. Maybe I'm being too anal and I should just keep them all loose in a bag...

  2. I never got around to getting the box and so mine are just all around. I keep out the ones that we are using for the week or two on the desk so we don't have to find em all. Like right now I have two sets of 1-9 out- one in order and one scattered. Although I have a schoolroom with a locked door. The math-u-see guy at the homeschool conference actually said he didn't like the box but rather a big tupperware container.

  3. We keep ours in a plastic drawer stand with other Math manipulatives. It's very handy and it's wonderful how they are usable throughout Math-U-Levels, so the investment lasts a few years.
